Elisabeth DuBois

Elisabeth DuBois has been in the world of music for over 25 years. After singing in church and school concerts, she decided to start piano lessons and audition for Theatre Orangeville Youth Singers at the age of 6, going on to complete 10 years in the choir. Over the course of her musical career Elisabeth has performed in various concert halls in the GTA with the Mark DuBois Studio Singers including Roy Thompson Hall and the Mississauga Living Arts Centre. From a young age, Elisabeth has been an active member of Theatre Orangeville including 3 roles in the Christmas productions of, Kringles Window, Twas, and The Giant’s Garden from 2005 to 2007. While playing flute in the ODSS Concert Band and teaching music lessons throughout high school, Elisabeth won the Orangeville Arts and Culture Award of Student Artist of the Year. After high school, Elisabeth went on to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from The University of Toronto, and followed that with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Western. She is now a music teacher within the public school system and is now the Director of the Theatre Orangeville Youth Singers.
