Join us at the farm WEDNESDAY AUGUST 19 (6-9pm) for a creative and grounding experience with Dufferin Foraged Inks, where art meets nature and mindfulness.
This hands-on workshop explores how plants from our local environment can be turned into natural inks — and how these inks can become tools for expression, reflection, and connection.
We’ll begin with a welcome plant walk and farm tour, followed by time to create for your own art-making with natural plant inks made by Dufferin Foraged Inks! After a guided session introducing foraged ink techniques, the space will shift into open studio time — allowing you to continue exploring at your own pace, wander the land, or simply slow down.
What to Expect:
-Guided plant walk & farm tour
-One-hour natural ink painting workshop with Darlene and Fabienne of Dufferin Foraged Inks
-Open studio time for free exploration
-Light snacks & refreshments included
All materials provided
Dufferin Foraged Inks create beautiful workshops that feel like watercolour painting meets wildcrafted wonder. Participants are encouraged to slow down, observe closely, and reconnect with nature — discovering inspiration in plants we often overlook. This isn’t just about making art, but about finding beauty in the everyday, and learning how nature can be both expressive and healing.
You’ll leave with new perspectives, a few pieces of your own botanical artwork, and ideas for how to continue this calming practice in your own life!
NOTE: This workshop is also running on Sunday August 16th from 11:00am – 2:00pm
