Spring Luncheon

Getting together for lunch has long been one of the rewarding aspects of being a DAC member. These fabulous gatherings bring together both artists and those that appreciate them!

​Currently being held at Mrs. Mitchell’s Restaurant in Violet Hill on Highway 89, each lunch is followed by a Speaker entertaining/educating the diners on various topics. The cost of lunch is $50 and is cash only. Space is limited, so reserving a seat is mandatory! Lunch runs from 11:30 am to 1:30pm.

Marina grew up in rural Ontario and is the author of eleven books in addition to being an editor, educator and was a producer/writer for CBC television.

She has taught art, language and anti-bullying programs in three countries and throughout Ontario. She currently advocates for parents and students, teaches art and is working on her twelfth book.

She believes the empowerment of individuals is the first step toward healing ourselves and our communities.
