Dufferin Foraged Inks facilitate hands-on workshops showing how plants, nuts and berries from our local environment can be harvested and turned into ink. Participants can explore these beautiful inks while creating unique artwork – similar to watercolour painting. The goal is to offer a creative environment where participants can reflect, reset and learn how nature can be both a source of expression and a tool for stress-relief.
Participants are encouraged to slow down, observe closely and reconnect with the natural world. These workshops are not just about making art – but rather about discovering that beauty and inspiration exist all around us, often in overlooked places. By tuning into seasonal shifts and everyday plants, participants will hopefully leave with new perspectives – as well as ideas for how they could pursue this type of mindfulness activity in their own spare time.
We also sell our unique inks, as well as hand-painted cards, postcards and whimsical wooden ornaments. Our most popular item is our postcard kit – this kit is perfect for taking on a trip, or as a gift for someone to remember this unique rural area.
