Shelly Ives is a visual artist based in Orangeville, Ontario. She is a graduate of the Illustration program at Sheridan College, where she developed a strong foundation in drawing and visual storytelling.
Following her studies, Shelly applied her creativity across a range of disciplines, working as a muralist, sign painter, and graphic designer. She has also contributed to the media industry through roles in radio, print, and digital journalism, enriching her artistic perspective through diverse forms of communication.
In recent years, Shelly has returned to her early artistic inspirations, focusing on drawing and painting the natural world and the human form. She works in a variety of media, including acrylic and watercolour paint, charcoal, conté, and pen and ink.
